I'm Dirk Stoffberg, a software engineer based in South Africa. I spend my time building web applications, experimenting with developer tools, and writing about what I learn along the way.

I work across the stack, with a focus on building fast, reliable systems. I'm particularly interested in developer experience, performance optimization, and shipping things that actually work.
